Junghans Watch Meister Signatur Handwound Limited Edition. 160 27/9103.00 In celebration of their 160th birthday, German watch manufacturer Junghans have launched the stunning Meister Signatur Handwound Limited Edition designed as a tribute to their decorated past. At the centre, it boasts the J620 hand wound calibre, a rare, vintage Junghans movement given a new full rose-gold plating makeover with a power reserve of 48 hours. As you'd expect, due to nature of the vintage movement, the Junghans Meister Signatur Handwound 160 Years watch is very limited with only 160 pieces being made. Thankfully, the historic example of Junghans' engineering is put on display through the exhibition case back protected behind a layer of sapphire crystal glass. Also adding to the value of the Junghans Meister Signatur Handwound 160 Years Limited Edition is it's breathtaking 18 carat rose gold case. It measures to 39 millimetres in diameter and 10.3 millimetres in height securing firmly and comfortably to the wrist by a black leather strap equipped with a matching solid gold pin buckle. The case boasts domed sapphire crystal glass treated to anti-reflective coating on both sides and a five-times screwed down case back water resistant to 100 metres. At the centre, the Junghans Meister Signatur Handwound 160 Years watch opts for a crisp silver dial treated to smooth matte finishing and two lovely dauphine shaped hands for hours, minutes and seconds. At 12 o'clock, the contemporary Junghans watch logo is replaced by an exact replica of the original Junghans insignia which could be found on their watches during the 1860's. |
